No more waiting...no more pain

The diagnostics are back.... Sherman has lung cancer that is growing rapidly.
Our hu-mom & dad have made the hardest decision they've ever had to make. Typing this is just as hard. Sherman will be free to join the pack beyond the Rainbow Bridge later this evening.

The most lonesome wooo I can woo,
Star

I am so VERY sorry. The same thing happened to my kitty Kirby back in March. It is so terribly sad to see them go, but you know it is for them, that we do the hardest thing there is - send them with all our love over the Bridge to be free. There will be plenty others there to meet him. And one day, you will all be together again.

With deepest sympathy, and lots of tears. I am sending hugs to you all.

Holly, and her human Jan

Hu-Mom and Dad, and of course Star,
We are so sorry to hear of this news. We are crying with you, as we know what it's like to lose a dog you're so close to. Please know we've been thinking of you and lifting you up in prayer. We know it's not an easy time...but hang in there. Take care all. We miss you at the Findlay dog park!
Love,
Nathan and Joy Anderson and Bailey

(Bailey is the Beagle who usually has her tail between her legs at the dog park)

Star, Sherman, and the Humans you've trained,

It is with more tears in my eyes than the stars in the sky that I say to you I'm so so so sorry for your loss and the illness and pain that are taking away your sweet life.

Sherman will soon be running in a beautiful field with all of his fluffiness and he'll be looking down on you all and smiling because he'll remember the love you shared. Look up and smile back.

Hugs,
Kelsey and Smokey

I didn't know Sherman but I'm sure he was one of the bestest. I lost a kitty sib a couple of years back and it is hard on all the family members. Know you are your humans are in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so sorry for your loss, but know that Sherman is now out of pain and once again able to embark on Husky adventures. The hardest thing to do is to free them to run again.

Star,
We are really sorry to hear about Sherman. We can't imagine what it must be like for you since we can't imagine being without each other. Please tell your mom and dad that we send them puppy kisses and that our mom says she will be thinking about all of you as well.
