Woos & A-roos,
Jack & Moo

2/08/2013

Welcome, Nemo!

We heard that we're gonna get some snow... some REAL snow, like a foot or more!  We're pretty excited about that, cause usually that big salty ocean we live next to makes the snow pass right by us.  Mom says today's snow will come from the other direction and go out over the ocean.

We started our watch this morning about 9:30...
Anything coming from that direction, Jack?  All I got this way is a few snowflakes.
Same here, but I can feel it in my bonezies...its a-comin, Moo, its a-comin....

About 10:30 Jack made a duty call, the wind had picked up...

We'll keep reporting as long as we can, till the storm ends .... or the power goes out!
till then, we're getting plenty of rest so we can be all energized when the big snow comes.
How'r those bonzies feelin now, Jack?

Finally back!

A-roos to yous, furiends,

The Iditawalk started today, woo-hoo!    This will be our 4th year to pawticipate in this great event:

"The Idita-Walk is an event to promote physical fitness
in the spirit of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race.
The Iditarod Sled Dog Race is 1049 miles long
beginning at Anchorage, Alaska and finishing in Nome, Alaska.

To complete the Idita-Walk, simply walk an average
of 30 minutes a day for 35 days between
February 1, 2013 to March 31, 2013 for a total of 1049 minutes."
 Check out the site, maybe woo will want to sign up your human and walk them, too.
       ~~~~~~~~~~~
Have woo noticed we've been 'missing' from the internet this week?
Harumph!  Someone stole our internet waves right out of the air!
Excuse me, but have woo
seen our phones and internet?
The fix-it dude finally came to fix it, wanna guess who the  "theif" was?
no, it wasn't evil squirrels......no, it wasn't nasty wabbits.....
it was the windy wind!   the connections were damaged up on the telephone pole from all the wind we've been having.... with gusts up to 45 & 60 mph!
We got kicked out into the yard while fix-it guy was here, and as woo can see,
it blew Moo around, too.
It didn't blow me around, cause I'm furry sure-footed.
Woo can see my tail blowing around, though!
So now that the internet mystery has been solved, we'll get back to reading your blogs and posting more pics!
a-roos to yous,
Jack A-roo
