Monday's View from the Moo: More Pink

Good Moo-rning everyone!  I trust every pup & peep & purr had a nice restful weekend?    Jack & I did!    Dad and mom...not so much.  Mom had to work and Dad is still busy playing with Mr. Tilesaw and Mr. Mastic down in the basement (he's putting in a new human indoor bathroom.  I wonder if he'll make us an indoor bathroom too?   Ha-roo roo roo, probably not!  Mom didn't have to work on Sunday and she mowed the grass in our kennel.  While it makes it easier to zoom in, we do miss the knee-deep stuff, it was fun, too.  We chased each other all over the yard while she worked, and gave her smiles & woos to encourage her.

Since I showed woo our trip to the pink beach last Monday,
I'll show woo some of the pinks around the yard now.
Pink trees!   These are in the yards of two neighbors, pretty soon
we'll have "pink petal showers" if the wind blows just right!
These are some of the beawootiful pink blooms
on the Prairie Crab apple Mom planted in front
of her kitchen window last spring.

..and these are the new tulips she planted last fall.
They're kinda cool - here is how they looked when
they first opened- pale pink with cream and green stripes....
And here is how they look today- deep deep magenta pink!
.... Magic tulips!
I just love pink!  Do woo have anything pink in your yard, too?
...and that's today's View from the Moo!

Toodle woo,
Miss Moo

Friday Fotos: In the Pink

We decided mom needed a walk, so we took her to the beach...
but woozers, did it look different!
The beach was PINK!
We ventured onto it just to check it out.  It was like walking on a big puffy pillow, furry soft and spongy.
Along the front edge, it was a foot thick!
Not to worry, its nothing dangerous, just some magenta-colored seaweed that is native to RI.  Who knew?

The seagulls were the only birds  around, they seem to like it alot.
Always something new at the beach....

Happy weekend!

Monday's View from the Moo on Tuesday

Ha-woo everyone!  It's me, Moo, bringing woo my View from the Moo a day late.  why?   Ask the human, I haven't done anything out of the ordinary to cause the delay.

Ha-roo roo!   OK, the fact is that Mom's been furry busy.   She started a job a couple weeks ago & has also been getting ready to teach painting classes at the local Michael's Crafts.  Her furry first class is tonight!   She did a demo on Sat and hopes to get some more students signed up.   Check out mom doing the demo & talking to some potential students:
Hey, these adult "students" look a little familiar, I'm sure I've met these two before....

Yup,  its our dad and our friend.  They came down to lend mom some moral support, cause that's what pack members do for each other!

Mom painted a bunch of examples to make displays. We snoopervised the painting,  didn't we do a good job?   Here's the finished display:

Mom's also ben doing some wildlife art, we'll get around to that later....
And we can't possibly end the View without at least a couple pics of Jack & I, now can we?
Here's what happens when we're out playing & mom yells "Jack, Moo...treats!"

Ha-roo roo roo... stand clear!

Well, I guess that concludes this week's View from the Moo... see woo later!

Toodle woo,
Miss Moo

Too early for Moo

What a beautiful morning!

Haven't had your coffee yet, have woo?
Hope your weekend is getting off to a good start!

A-roos to woo & toodle-woo,
Jack a-roo & Miss Moo

Monday's View from the Moo: Playtime!

Hello everyone! I know its time for Monday's View from the Moo, but its such a lovely day out that all I can think about...
....is that I wanna PLAY!
C'mon, Jack!
.....and that's today's View from the Moo!

Miss Moo

Here comes trouble!

Did woo see what mom titled this, Jack? What's that supposed to mean? Just cause we freed the tomato plants from their containers and ate that yummy baby lettuce & basil? Harumph!
I told woo not to eat those, Moo.
I told woo she just put them on the deck to
keep them away from the rabbits.
Woo never listen to me, do woo.
Moo, are woo listening?

Happy weekend!
Jack & Moo

Wooless Wednesday

Don't you just hate driving when
some turkey's blocking the road in front of you?
Ha-roo roo roo!

Monday's View from the Moo...

Good Moo-rning everyone!
Did woo all have a nice weekend? Perhaps some Easter chicks or bunnies to eat? No?
Well, our pawrents didn't give us any chicks or delicious baby bunnies, either.
BUT we did get a nice walk at the Windmill park!
It looked a little different....brighter than usual.
Hey Jack, is it just me, or do these bushes look like butter?

The duckies were all out - we put our paws on the stone wall and woo'd some greetings... and they all swam away. (Ducks are rather rude.)
...but these big white ducks swam closer - and look!
They're doing a double duck dunk!
We did the usual...sniff along the stream, sniff the gardens, sniff the stone walls, sniff the grass, sniff the barn, sniff the compost, sniff the ..... well , woo get the picture!
(and mom got lots of "headless dog" shots.)

And of course, the "tied to the windmill" shots so she can see us from the front -side!
Ever get the feeling you're being watched?
A-ha! We see woo!
These gulls were keeping a bird's eye view on us!
And that about wraps up this week's View from the Moo!

Miss Moo

"Christ our Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!"

Wishing woo Easter Blessings!

Friday Fotos: Spring!

We agreed to let mom post these pics on our blog.... but we are NOT happy that she didn't take us with her! She said something about us causing "....mass chaos in the barnyard.....

Notes from Mom...
This petting zoo is on a small family farm across from the windmill park - its been a busy place lately with all the new lambs & kids! Remember the chicken eating pizza we ran across at the Windmill park? It was an escapee from here! There is also a field full of "Oreo" cows, too!

Pretty little lamb.

The most curious goat in the barnyard!
Loved this little bi-color baby - looks kind of like a Siberian sheep, no?
Another Siberian lamb!
Pretty horns!
Quack want to know: "Are you done with that water yet?"
The curious goat started climbing the fence.....
which seemed to amuse these old goats!
Hope you enjoyed a little trip to the petting zoo this morning! The pups will be back blogging tomorrow!

Fur our kitty-loving furiends!

Really too funny not to share!

Wednesday: Wavey Woos

Woos & a-roos!
As promised, here are the pictures from
my birthday trip to the beach!
I love going to the beach!
It was high tide, so we crossed over the rocks instead of walking around them on the sand like usual. Mom laughs, she says we're obviously not labs.....we go out of our way to avoid the water....mostly.
Moo hopped down between waves to check out what washed
into the rocks, I stayed on too of the rocks to snoopervise.
The waves are always so soothing to listen to.
"Hey Jack, look over here -there's a party on the beach"
There were dozens of these little feathered guys along
the edges of the waves....sure looks like they're on their
way to a party, doesn't it?
Woo-hoo! Now they're playing bobbing for .....whatever!
Mom brought home a few souvenirs- she let me pick them out!
We sure are fortunate to be able to go to the beach now & then...thanks fur coming with us!

A-rooso to yous and toodle-woo,
Jack a-roo & Miss Moo
