Wooos & A-roooos!

A-roooos, Everydog! Jack here -

Well, it's been crazy-busy. It stormed all day Saturday so we didn't get to the husky thing because our humans "didn't want to drive for hours to sit in the rain all day" - can you imagine? Sunday, they drove off on a family emergency of sorts... and Star & I had to stay busy by ourselves. Not a problem for the old gal - she watched me & napped all day. But I was BUSY!
I thought I'd remodel the yard a bit - just around the edges... see what a good job I did? I plan to keep a few toys stashed here, but don't tell Star.

Mom liked my hole sooo much, she came out & took a picture of me scouting out a new spot. You can see another example of my handipaw work just behind my head - I stashed a tennis ball there for later. Mom even had me sign that picture!

I got good at this by practicing inside the house first.

But I have to hand it to Star's old friend, Sherman... he takes the bone when it comes to hole digging! I hope I get as good as he was!

(*EDIT* Mikki, I just saw your holes, and I'm impressed! I am practising "controlled digs" , but I'll work my up to "big digs" & make you proud!)

A-Rooos to yous,
Jack

(and sleepy Wooos from Star)
"Huh? What did he just say?"

PS - Mom finally got most of the blog changes figured out. Hopefully everyone's links link.

Wow! Jack, I can really dig what you've accomplished there! Hee hee hee!
Sorry to hear about the family emergency - I hope everything is OK!
Love,
Amber
PS: Did you get Storm's last email about maybe the Trooper link doesn't link because of the plain text/HTML enabled setting issue?

Oh Jack, you are a busy guy. I keep my squeaky balls all over. I need to find a hiding place. Hmmm.

I have to agree. Sherman is the best at hole digging. Wow!

Star really has that "do not disturb me" look down to an art.

Wow, that's some hole Sherman dug. We showed it to our dad and he said "HOLY COW". He thinks our holes our bad, so we wanted him to know they could be worse!

Oh wow! You remodled the garden exactly how I would have. You should see my place, mum calls it the 'Moon'... not sure why but she always tells me off for digging to many holes.

Thanks for visiting my blog - I've added you to my friends list.

Wow!

I starting to dig little holes around the garden, but now I'm inspired to concentrate on one impressive hole like the one you did! Nice one!

Good excavating Jack. It's always good to hide toys and treats where your humans and sister can't find them. Just don't be like the squirrels and forget where you hid them.

"NICE" Crater you dug beside the walk, Jackie-Boy!

Did Hu-Mom run out and buy a new Tree to plant in it?

We never knew that "Deep Open-Pit Mining" was a specialty that Sherman was so talented in. Be sure to wear your Hard Head when you're down in the pit!

Grrrrreat hole, Jack-a-Roo, I'm proud of woo. Woo can come & help us in our "dig to China" mission anytime! That Sherm pic looks almost like the ones of me & Cracker, shoulder-deep & going for more, he would have fit in perfectly with the River Hill Excavation Team! Star could keep Chili company napping & supervising the dig projects, while you & I dig shoulder to shoulder....
Nibble kisses,
Mikki

Whew...but when we saw Sherman's hole....golly gee is that HUGE! You've got a ways to go Jack, but you can do it if you try. :)
