Monday's View from the Moo: Plumbers Edition

Ha-woo everyone! This week on the View from the Moo we have a guest: Smokey!
Here's a bit of background: Dad is remodeling the laundry room and adding a half-bath, so he's had a few plumbers come out fur quotes. The last guy came in & met us, and casually remarked "I have one of those out in the car"... mom's ears perked up (yes, humans can "perk" their ears, but its not as pretty as when we do it)... and invited said husky to come out and play while he & dad talked.

Woo-hoo! I love to play with new furiends! But Jack.... not so much. As soon as Smokey came out, Jack was an idiot barking & chasing him & jumping on him and poor Smokey was totally bewildered. Mom said "No playdate for you, buster! (BTW, this is the backstory to Sunday's picture.) Sooooooo, only I got to play with Smokey and we had fun!

I showed him how to use the dog door-
he caught on pretty quick!
and where we get water in the summer...
I showed him the hole we dug!
Then we did a little of this:
and this
and this
We said hi to Jack when we zoomed onto the deck.
I'm sorry, Smokey, I don't know what got into me"
"S'ok, Jack, maybe next time"
Smokey checked out our igloos...
"Sweet! I bet fresh straw day is fun!"
and we rounded out the afternoon with some of this:
Good thing Jack taught me that hide under the bench move
or I'd have been toast!
Finally Mom brought out some treaties so she could get at
least one picture of Smokey holding still, ha-roo-roo-roo!
Me, too!
I think woo can see by our smiles that we had a great time! (Jack.... not so much). and guess what? Our pawrents picked Smokey's dad to do the plumbing job! One of his helpers is here today, I sure hope Smokey comes back sometime!

and that's today's View from the Moo,

Toodle-woo!
Miss Moo

Oh, I forgot to mention, I did my "water ballet" for Smokey - that's where I go flying in through the dog door and land both front paws in my waterbowl & dance till all the water's splashed out! I was spectacular, but mom wasn't so keen about it. Oh well, that's what "the help" is for , right?

Smokey looks like a great playpal. Hope he gets to come back again. Maybe next time Jack will decide to play too. Phantom isn't crazy about visitors either but the rest of us love to play. Great fun for you, Moo.

Oh my word. That sounds so fun. I was hoping the whole time that your parents chose that plumber. He OBVIOUSLY has good taste and is a good man.

I hope Smokey gets to come back and play!

hey Miss Moo,

What a pawsome day! Smokey is a beauty and seems like a super furied to play with, and you two looked like you had a blast! Too bad we did not see a video of your water dance. It really sounds spectacular!

Sorry that Jack was off today. Hopefully next time Smokey comes around he will be more keen on playing than barking. :->

If only all plumbers carried a Siberian in their tool belt! Looks like you and Smokey had tons of fun! Too bad about Jack - maybe he was jealous of Smokey moving in on his sister!
Play bows,
Zim
