Monday's View from the Moo: Does it taste like Chicken?

Good Moorning everyone!
Some good news on this week's View from the Moo: mom's hurty paw has healed enough that she took us on a real walk at one of our favorite places - the windmill park!

All went smoothly till she parked the car and took us out of it. While she was locking the door, we smelled the delicious aroma of chicken and pizza and bolted right into the forsythia hedge to find the source.... well at least we tried to bolt into the hedges. Mom managed to spin around & stop us just before we dragged her face-first into the hedges. Of course, all this was accompanied by a lot of squawking and clucking and we couldn't tell what it was in there.

Mom got us straightened out & at last we were ready fur our walk.

We dragged her over to the pond to say hi to our feathered furiends. See the one fluffing himself up? I think he was trying to look as fluffy as we are -ha-roo roo roo!
Along the stream, Jack found a tree that toppled over and had all kinds of good smells under it - Jack really dug that! (a little more Siberian humor.)
The gardens in this park practice primitive gardening - looks like they've been getting things ready fur spring - there were several new pole supports. They turned the windmill again, too.
and as usual, mom had us stand fur a"nice" picture. she loops our leases on the tie-offs for the windmill cause she says otherwise she'd never get to see our faces.... usually she shares the same view as that of the sled mushers.
It was a real nice walk. Mom let us sniff to our hearts content. Lots of fresh earth to dig in from the gardens, lots of critter holes to explore in the stone wall around the park, and of course, good smells all along the stream. We walked the long way back to the car when it was time to go. And that is this week's View from the Moo,

Toodle-woo!
Miss Moo

PS - Oh, about those noises & smells in the bushes? AFTER mom had US locked in the car, she walked back around to take a look, and guess what it was.....

What a fun walk you had!!! Chicken and pizza.... good sniffers!!!! On walks our usually gets the same view as your M...Mom hadn't yet thought of tying us to something so she could get a face view. But we could hear her thinking... Thinking she's gonna try that move. Even though we have cute butts, she says a face shot would be good!!!

Poor mom! Glad she is okay. Those smells are just too enticing for one to stand still.

The chicken really had pizza? Bummer that you didn't get to snag the pizza and the chicken!
Mom says the windmill reminds her of Nantucket. What beautiful pictures!

Love ya lots,

Wow! Look at that - a chicken! Hmm. So a chicken in the bush is worth ... no, wait. Umm ... how does that expression go again? A chicken in the hand is worth two in the mouth? No, that's not right...
LOVE the pic of you two in front of the windmill! And we're so glad your mom is healing!!!
