Two months...

Two months....since you left for the Rainbow Bidge.
Two months... that feel like years.
Two months... our hearts still grieve over losing you.
Two months... missing you every day, every hour, every moment.

The air is cooler, leaves turn red and gold, like your coat.
Crisp leaves dance in the air and on the ground across our path... you always loved Fall.

Dance in the light, Sherman, dance in the light.
Shine in the Northern sky, shine true and bright.
Shine on our days, and shine on our nights,
You shine in our memories of what you were like.
Shine on these gray days, shine deep in our heart,
Shine here forever, and never depart.

There are no words to express how deeply you are missed, dearest Sherman.

My human has tears! It has been almost 2 years since she lost her Shula Mae, and she still misses her terrible. So, I know your pain and how much you all miss your sweet Sherman. And even though Jack is now there to fill an emptiness, he can never replace Sherman.

Hugs to you all!

That was such a bewootiful poem. Maybe Sherman is playing wif our mommy's Shanna up there. Mommy still gets choked up when she thinks about her. Jack will never replace Sherman, but he'll earn his own special place in your family & hearts (that's what mommy wanted me to let you know).

What a beawootiful poem, a fitting tribute to a beawootiful boy. Mom's face is leaking again, but she says she hopes he's running and playing with Granddogs Starr & Ice, as well as Mullins Clan's Shanna. Thank Dog you have the puppyhead keep you all from getting too lonely.
Sad manykisses,
Bama & the RHP
