We decided mom needed a walk, so we took her to the beach...
but woozers, did it look different!
The beach was PINK!
We ventured onto it just to check it out. It was like walking on a big puffy pillow, furry soft and spongy.
Along the front edge, it was a foot thick!

Not to worry, its nothing dangerous, just some magenta-colored seaweed that is native to RI. Who knew?
The seagulls were the only birds around, they seem to like it alot.
Always something new at the beach....

Mom looks like she had a good walk. We love the beach and all those nutty smells. The soft pillow stuff must have been worth exploring

Goodness, the beach IS pink! I've never seen seaweed that color before! Jack and Moo, I think it sets off your furs wonderfully!
Mom says that would be the next best thing to purple ;-)
