Woo-hoo!!!! He got one of those silly seagulls right here in our fully fenced in yard! Snatched it right out of the air!** Our peeps sure were impressed! We've caught birds on the wing before - little birds like blue jays, sparrows, black birds, but never one this big!
As usual, Jack was not allowed to keep his prize and since "he's such a good boy" he didn't even put up a fuss when the peeps took his gull away. If it were my catch, I'd have stashed it way in back of the bushes & snacked on it later, but... no one asked me).
I'm keeping this picture handy, just in case I hear any more humans who question the hunting skills of Siberians!

Highly impressive Jack! Mom as watched Samuel (in his younger days) and even fat Holly catch birds right out of the air too. Only thing she really doesn't like is when we bring them in the doggie door to show her our catch!
