This week's View from the Moo brought to woo from Gen. Prescott's "Headquarters" ...
Hmmmm, which way should we go first?
Lets sniff by the building.... its called Gen. Prescott's Headquarters, but actually he was a British General imprisoned here by the Colonists during the Revolutionary War.Woo- what a good idea - instead of gravel, they're using quahog shells - how furry colonial of them! (For non-NewEnglanders, a quahog is a big clam. Lots of competition between restaurants for the best stuffed quahogs! )
We stopped by to woo at the quackers.... they did not, however wish to swim over and play. Then we walked over to the other side of the park and checked out this cool garden...Everything was so pretty - mom liked the hand-built trellises a lot...
This makes for a nice view of the back of the windmill.
Mom took lots of pictures of us, but mostly of our backs. We were't too cooperative, but finally, we relented and gave her our smiley faces... I mean, she did spend all afternoon with us!

And that wraps up this weeks View from the Moo!

Sad sad woos to Kodiak's peeps and pack, the Thundering Herd. While on vacation, he suffered a severe spinal cord injury. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday. His peeps are devastated, please drop by his blog, and read the beautiful tribute to him. He will be missed.

I finally figured out what tickles me about Moo. It's her 'tude in the photos. she's always got her head high and she's full of sass in her poses. How does Jack put up with all that sass? What a great team.
Another great walk for you two. Thanks for the bit of history lesson too. We love that last photo of you. Wild Dingo is right - Moo always makes us smile.
Very sad here at the loss of Kodiak.

What a great place to explore! I thought for a minute there you two walked all the way to that Holland place! Woo.
Too bad the ducks didn't come over to play. I don't know how he does it, but Zim always gets them to swim over to him.
Thanks for the great pix!
Luv,
Dave

Thanks so much for the remembrance of good old Kode Red. He certainly would enjoy walking around with all of you.
What a nice park! Our dad is always giving us history lessons so we can't wait to show him Jack and Moo's blog for October 3rd. What type of grass is planted in the park? It looks like carpet.
We too are saddened by The Thundering Herd's great loss. Kodiak will be missed.
