Some (don't) Like it Hot

It's TOO HOT FOR HUSKIES the past few days. And this little house does not have husky air conditioning. Harumph!

Usually there is a nice breeze and its only too hot for a couple hours, but someone turned off the sky fan and turned up the humidity. It cools off at night, so we wait till the sun sets and then try to soak up all the coolness.

Ahhhhh, that's feels better!
We hear that there were big thunderstorms all around us, but ours only lasted about 3 minutes. Still, this morning it's a little cooler and there is a little breeze.
Please keep our furiend Khyra & her Mom in your thoughts - they are heading over to NJ to help search for Rocky, who escaped from his new owner's car and is really good at evading his rescuers. For his own sake, he needs to stop playing this game. But he's still pretty much a pup and doesn't realize how dangerous it is when woo don't have a biped watching out fur woo.
Even though its too hot to play smack-down, we're still crossin' paws and sending Sibe vibes to Rocky: "Rocky, go to the nice bipeds!" A-roos!

Stay khool-
jack a-roo & miss moo

i'm calling the sibe police right now about that AC problem you're having. hopefully they'll have it installed right away. don't you know that:
sibes. live. in the house. where there's air conditioning. why the heck do you think they call them siberian huskies anyway?

yes, we're crossing paws for jack too.

We don't know if we would survive without our a/c, no breezes here at all. We have turned our days into nights and sleep most of the day. It doesn't really cool off much at night but at least the sun is gone:)

Glad you missed the worst of those storms - it sounds like parts of Connecticut got hit very badly.

Poor Jack and Moo. I has'nt got that hot for us here yet but it will. Thats why we got in the habit of getting our main walks at 10 PM. Our dad also does not turn on the AC until it is really hot ... what a loser he is.

No ac here either, though I suspect we are a little cooler. We are doing a lot of laying around.

I think the only solution to this heat wave in your house is lots and lots of ice cream. In this case, it's not a treat, it's a life or death situation!

WOO WOO Jack and Moo

We so understand how icky hot weather is. It's been horrible here in Iowa too. Mom took us for an early walk this morning but we got so hot we had to go swimming.
We must be keeping all of the thunderstorms here in Iowa because it's raining and lightning every day here! We will try and send it to you!
