There were deep snow drifts in the shadows between the dunes. I think sand & snow are a good combination. A little summer, a little winter, all in the same place.

We might be willing to trade our snow for a day at the beach with you - we have never seen the ocean. Mom thinks that is quite the treasure trove of shells there.
