We're overwhelmed by all your messages of sympathy for Tori, each one means a great deal to us. You understand the bonds of love we have with our fur friends, and how each of us dreads the day we have to say goodbye. Thank you for taking the time to come visit and leave a kind word. I'm sure that Tori's family in Ohio will also read them and find comfort knowing how many hearts Tori touched in her short time here with us.

We had some flurries yesterday but no snow to speak of. Maybe it's at least a good sign of something to come.

Hi Jack-a-roo! We're under a Winter Storm Warning, but I don't think we're going to get much more than some flurries. We'll see.
We're due for more - LOTS more - Tuesday and Wednesday, but I can only tell 24 hours out.

Thanks Thunder & Phantom. Mom said she hated to change the header, cause it was so pretty, but she also felt sadder & sadder every time she came to the blog. (Which was a lot lately, with so many comments!)
So... a fresh sort-of almost snowfall seemed like a good time to change the blog around a bit.

I have no snow. But it is summer here.
The blog is lovely and I am sure doing it will have given some comfort. Since joing the blog land it never ceases to amaze me at the love that reaches out to all that need it.. We all pull together and that is special. Glad you got a little snow.. Love GJ and Carol x

Another snow siting and we're still devoid of snow on Long Island. My part-husky brother Ziggy is extremely jealous and more than a little depressed. Maybe you could say some paws for snow for us???? I hate to see my brother down and out.
