It doesn’t seem to matter if your kids are young or grown,
Or have skin or fur or feathers, they will always be your own.

Moms are good at kissing boo-boos when we fall or break a bone,
And they hug us when we’re fearful, or feeling all alone.

Moms love us when we’re evil and they love us when we’re good,
They love us when we do the things we shouldn’t, & things we should.

Moms help us do the stuff that we might not want to do,
Like take us to the vet or doc, or face up to what is true.

So Moms, today we tell woo how much we really care,
And thank woo for the things woo do, we know your always there.

Effurrybody has a mother, wearing skin or fur or fluff,
We send our love to all of them, for doing “Mother” stuff.
