We are sorry, furiends, but because of a sudden display of commercial
spam in our comments, we are going to turn on that stupid word
verification and comment moderation. Bad humans!
We know, and we agree, its difficult to use, and we really hate to do this, but there seems to be no other option to eliminate companies posing as peeps from making comments that contain links where they would like to direct our readers, and we don't want that going on on OUR blog!

We've got the same spam going on with our blog lately too and lots of it!
We've gotten a few spammers but nothing major - yet! Stoopid hoomans have nothing better to do with their time!

Beautiful photo of Star! And I had that same problem, plus, many of the comments I subscribed too are having it and thus filling my mailbox with tons of spam each day. So, as a defensive move, I, too, turned on the captcha so none of our bloggie readers would get spammed. SO aggravating! We are totally with you in this - and really, it's not that hard for folks to try once or twice to read the codes. Far better than everyone getting spammed! I was going to do a post about it too. Spammers, be gone!
That's OK, I just use the super bigify on my iPad. No worries.
