Friday Fotos: Fence Friends

Here I am watching the neighborhood. I like to do that. Mom let me out late last night, and I stood by the fence, just watching, for a long time. Mom came out & looked thru the fence too. It was dark out so she had to look for awhile to see what I saw that was so interesting. Then she took my collar & quietly said, "Uh-oh, come on Jack, you're coming back inside NOW!"

This is the kind of critter I saw outside my fence:

One of these walked right in front of us the other night on our evening walk. I don't know what Mom has against them, she gets really nervous every time she sees one! I mean, how bad can they be? They're black & white, just like me, but they don't have big Mr. Fangs like I do or anything. They're furry tiny, really. I just want to be friendly, don't know if I'll ever get a chance to say hello to one of these little guys up close & personal. It's a mystery to me.

Happy weekend efurryone!

A-roos to yous,
Jack a-roo

Do NOT play with the striped kitty. You end up getting lots of baths if you do.

My mom made me khome in Wednesday night too - I was sitting out in the middle of the yard - just looking and watching - I won't tell her what I was watching (honestly, I don't know either but I know something was watchable)!

Looks like fun to me. We're getting a new fence, so I hope cute little B&W critters are on the other side.

PS. Mom says "think again, Steve".

Oh, Jack, you so do not want to meet Mr. Skunk!!! Our Mom gets so worried because Thunder likes to go out very early when she gets up at 4:45 am and he won't come back in. She is so afraid he is going to get sprayed.

So no skunk fence friends, Jack.

Happy weekend, the OP Pack

Oh! We had a puppy one of those come live in our retaining walls a few years ago! I wanted to bring him inside and raise him as my own, but for some reason, Mom and Dad wouldn't let me.

That is not a kitty, Jack. Please don't play with it. It can make you smell bad.

But you are furry beautiful (as always) in the photo!

Hug, hug, hug and some for Star too,
Elyse

We saw your comment over on Ozzie's blog and thought we would come over to visit!

We are glad your mom figured out what you were looking at! You wouldn't want an encounter with one of those!
