Jack & I took mom fur one fast-paced walk! I guess bipeds don't realize how strong we huskies are till we decide to go where we want and drag them along, ha-roo roo roo! The best part was that there were lots of little critters to sniff out of the grasses. I even caught one! Yup, we were walking along and a big fat field mouse made a dive off the path to try to hide in the rocks & I CAUGHT him with my teethies! Mom was pretty surprised, cause I was on the leash & all, and she didn't seem too pleased. She grabbed my jaws & opened them and told me to drop it! I resisted at first, but I hate to see her so upset, so I dropped it. Mom said she was afraid I was gonna swallow it whole! I offered to just take little bites, but she made us keep walking.
I plucked that mouse right from the rocks near here!
Probably some lucky coyote got to enjoy my "catch of the day" last night. I'm sure a good meal like that won't go to waste. Mom says she is sure if we ever ran off that we would not starve. Isn't that a good thing? With all the food around here this weekend, I don't think anyone is going to starve over here! Hope woo get to enjoy some turkey leftovers at your house, too.
And that's Monday's View from the Moo, on Sunday.
(and a pic of me, Moo, very satisfied with myself)
