Friday foto- picture perfect

This is a portrait mom made for our boxer cousins in Ohio. Sadly, Petunia (the one on the left) died suddenly a few months ago. Mom hoped this would be a nice way to remember her and the wonderful relationship she had with her sisfur, Brandy. Brandy is adjusting, but we know she must miss Petunia a lot. Star & Sherman met Petunia, so we imagine they are all romping together over the Bridge.
Brandy also lost her brofur Persian kittyboy Moe just a week ago. Brandy still has 1 kitty sisfur, Bear. Moe's dad used to call Moe "the Fabio of cats", and he was a very handsome boy with long flowing fur!

Godspeed, Moe!
and now for a bit of light-hearted news…..
Ha-woo, we got e-mail!
We received our certificate for finishing the Iditawalk. We think Mom should print it & put it over our beds! Its one of several fund raisers we pups papwticipate in during the year to help worthy causes. Its good to volunteer.
Are woo getting ready fur a holiday at your house? We're getting ready fur Easter. We hear there will be some tasty food, even fur us! woo-hoo! We plan to help snoopervise in the kitchen.

A-roos to yous, and

Wednesday Woos: Woods Walk II

Ha-woo friends,
Now, where were we when we left off on Monday? Oh yes, Moo was looking off the edge of the bridge. Jack was looking off the other side. We crossed and continued on our way.
We walked quite a ways back in, following the sound of water falling…..
this is like a "Where's Waldo" picture - where's the fisherman??? Can woo spot him?
Mom stood close to the edge of the rocks and took this picture looking down & back towards the largest of the falls… don't fall in, Mom! Do woo think thats why they call them "falls"?
After our walk in the woods, we walked down the entrance road the opposite direction from where we parked. We found this cool bridge!

Moo woo'd "Hey Jack, woo gotta see what's on this pond!"

"quack quack quack quack quack quack quack"
Those ducks really quack me up, Moo!
Oh Jack, your such a joker!
Hey, take another look, this is kinda cool too.
Woo-hoo! Think that guy will catch up to the swan?
Who cares? I just want him to head the swan towards the shore this direction.
Hmm, somehow I don't think that's going to happen.

And with that, we headed back in the direction of our Siberian Outback.
…and had a lovely nap the rest of the afternoon.
Thanks fur sharing our adventure!

Monday's View from the Moo: Secret Park

This week's View from the Moo is all about a sweet secret park we found. It's not far from a spot mom takes us to go walking...

Woo! All that open road just makes woo wanna run, doesn't it?
But mom is on the other end of the leashes, so we better just walk.
Lets go see what's in the woods...
Woosers, this is pretty!

Nice view from up here, Moo, check it out.

Woo, I see what woo mean, Jack. Woo can watch stuff float by in the water

Looking back where we came from….

Going a little farther down one of the paths, we saw this old rusty tank. Mom says she's seem this from the road on the other side and always wondered about it.
Hey, our furiends Dave & Zimmie at the Ao4
hike by a Giant's Castle, maybe this is a Giant's ashcan?
Just past the pond is another bridge over a pretty little waterfall.
I liked standing on the bridge & surverying the stream.
Woo know, this might be a good place to stop and take a break…
we have a lot more pics to go.
I think we'll post the rest on Wednesday Woos.

So that's it for today's View from the Moo!

The View from the Moo

Ha-roo, pup, peeps & assorted pets,
Wanna know why woo haven't heard from us? Take a look
.
.
.
.
.
.
We've been locked behind bars all weekend!
Yeah, we're BAD dogs.
BAD BAD dogs.

Ha-roo roo roo, just kidding!
Woo knew we aren't bad dogs, at least, not that bad.

Dad installed this gate where he took out the old door. That way when he's going in & out the garage as he remodels the hall, we can't slip outside unnoticed. The pawrents think that's a great plan. We don't see why we can't go have adventures, but…

as woo can see, there is a back-espcape door that goes out into our fully fenced yard. We do wonder why there is a mini door in the gate - surely not so squirrels can get in???

~~~~~ STYLIN"!~~~~~~
Ha-woo-- check us out in our Subaru gear--
We took part in Subaru's Game Day Dog Walk event on Superbowl Sunday. They had not expected such a terrific turnout, there were over 100,000 pups that walked! They ran out of bandanas, but they reordered them so every pup could have one. That was mighty nice of Subaru - we give them 4-paws up fur being good sports! Mom has been a big fan of Subaru Outbacks ever since those commercials years ago that showed how many Siberians woo could fit in one - remember those commercials? We're in our second Siberian Outback now, still lovin it. (Thought since Subaru was so nice about the bandanas, we'd give them a little plug)
And that's today's View from the Moo!
Miss Moo
Friday foto: friends
Woo-oo everyone, what a busy week here at the Moo Mansion.
Mom's pretty busy, so Jack & I are not getting our usual levels of attention.
but I've discovered if I sit patiently in just the right place….
I can still get my ears rubbed j-u-s-t right... by my dad!
He's still rennovating our entrance hall, and he does some of his planning at the kitchen table, and that's in MY territory!
A little to the left, pawlease…. Ahhhhhh!
Wooo-oooo! Thanks dad!
Siberian creativity…. its all about getting what we need.
Toodle-woo,
Miss Moo
Monday's view from the Moo: wake up & smell the ham!
Good Moo-rning! Todays View from the Moo is dedicated to our
kitty furiend Huffle Mawson, from down under.
Huffle's favorite food is ham.
And I smell ham in the kitchen today!
What do woo think, Jack? Is Huffle coming to visit?
I dunno, Mom won't let me have any kitty furiends…
something about "prey drive"…
Aw heck, Jack. Guess we'll just have to pretend…
Huffle, would woo like to stay for some ham?
And that's today's View from the Moo brought to woo by ham in the kitchen!
Toodle-woo!
Sunday Scenes
I heard Dad was going to do some major renovating of my hallway. I checked it out to make sure it was safe for him to work there.
He's been busy - cutting & been ripping off siding, shingles, and the ceiling. Now he's building some structural stuff. I offered to help, but dad said no, he & Mr. A.Saw's tool buddies have it covered.
So I went outside to snoopervise Miss Moo. Woo never know what she's getting into (I've heard Mom say that), so I figured that as a big brofur, its my job to keep an eye on her.
Mom & dad left us fur the evening and went to this big fancy-schmancy place fur dinner.
Pretty grand entranceway!
Mom liked the fountain in the courtyard too.
They said the view was great. we think the food must have been good to, cause they did not come home with a doggy bag. Harumph!
We did get a furry nice treat though, because we did a good job guarding the house. We are a working breed, woo know. Since its sunday, we get to relax & take the day off today. Sounds like "Nap time"!
Friday Fotos: Birthday Joy
Thank woo for all the nice Birthday wishes!
You really know how to make a guy feel special!
Here's my day in pics:
Dad, that looks like a bag from one of those doggie boutiques...
…it smells like something from one of those doggie boutiques too….
it wouldn't happen to be fur me, would it?
Woo-hoo! Crab and lobster, my favorites!
Thank woo - its impolite to woo wiff my mouff full, so I'll just take it outside….
… Moo demolishes hers on the spot, of course….
Yummmmm, I'm going to take my time with this baby!
MMMMMM, this yogurt icing is the bomb!
...and that's how my day went - plus yummy fish on my dinner, and guess what? Moo kept her promise - no smack downs, no leg or tail or ear pulling, she was just sweet as could be!
Then came the best surprise a Siberian can hope for--
It snowed last night!!! Woo-hoo! What a great birthday!
