Woos & a-roos friends,
We're finally back bloggin. Our bi-peds abandoned us and went on a trip. I swear, all they do is think about food- they went to the "Big Apple" and they didn't even bring any tasty things back for us. I'm sulking about this, in one of my furry favorite sleepy-spots -- on the landing at the top of the stairs. It's quite comfurtable - I cozy into the corner - see my feety-feets on the side and back walls?

What about the pictures? I think that's why I love this spot so much. Those are some of mom's paintings. It's Star, mom's kitties Purdy & Chow Chow, and that bottom one is Rosie Posie when she was a crazy puppy. Do woo notice who's missing? Yup, us boys, Sherman & Jack. Mom did finish one of Sherman recently, it's hanging in the hall:
so I'm guessing I'm next. Star says she's due for an updated portrait. I think we'll be keeping mom busy for a while.
Back to the Big Apple -- I overheard mom talking about delicious corned beef & swiss on rye, and CHEESECAKE, which must be furry good cause her eyes glaze over & she salivates when she says it. She told me she went on a boat to visit a giantess that stands on top of a castle! Here's a picture she took thru the salt-stained windows of the ferry boat:

And here she is from the top of the boat, with the city in the background:

Mom says she's really spectacular up close. She brought home a little version of her I'm not allowed to play with. (Well actually, Mr. Fangs is not allowed to play with her.) What ever.
Dad took this one looking up from the top level of the base, he couldn't stand back any further or he'd fall off.

and this is what she looks like on the inside: you can see the winding staircase that goes to the top, but nobody's allowed up there any more.

All in all, I'm happy to have the bipeds home again. They may not be much, but they're mine.
Woos & A-roos to yous,
Star & Jack
