Idita-Walkin' the Cliff Walk

We Iditawalked in a really cool place with mom- along Newport's famous Cliff Walk. It runs along the ocean behind some of Newport's biggest mansions.  We saw the Atlantic Ocean, seagulls, waves, sniffed lots of stuff, and got lots & lots of compliments. It was great! We walked mom for 1 1/2 hours.  She said her pedometer measured our walk at a little over 3 1/2 miles -- 8000 steps! Good thing those steps were forward and not up and down.

The Atlantic:
Looking over the side:
Really cool rocks - you can't really tell here,
but it's a LONG way down to those rocks!
The stone tunnel:
We're just walking along, singing our song, side by side!

We'll post some more pictures from our walk tomorrow!

  1. That looks like a gorgeous place for an Idita-Walk! Is there such thing as an Idita-Hike?

  5. Mum says it's a shame we don't have such cool scenery here. Although we did wake up to a blazing red sunrise because of all the fires.
