Farewell to winter

Frozen in frames,
a moment, a day, an event,
memories preserved as
Winter passes.
Snow melts into spring mud.
White ground turns brown,
and drab gray-green
shows spikes of tender green.
One last winter post recalls
the beauty and wonder
of snow,
as we prepare to bid
Spring "hello".

Wooos & a-roos,
Star & Jack a-roo

  4. We thought we were happy for spring, but those beautiful pics of you two in the snow make us wonder if maybe we don't want just one more snowfall.

  5. That poem is bee-woo-tiful, but made me sad. We're going kicking and wooing into Spring.
